Once you’ve reviewed your Spotify Wrapped 2025, take a look at these imitators

Spotify’s yearly Wrapped feature has just been released, offering listeners an exciting, customized overview of their audio consumption trends. Over time, it has surged in popularity, leading numerous companies to capitalize on this trend by developing analogous year-end experiences that provide users with a summary of their behaviors, inclinations, or engagements from the past year.

Here’s a selection of platforms and sites that echo the Spotify Wrapped idea.

Amazon Music

Amazon Music has introduced a new Spotify Wrapped imitation for this year called “2025 Delivered,” presenting users with a snapshot of their listening stats, including top tracks, artists, and even podcasts. Interestingly, the platform leverages Amazon’s virtual assistant, Alexa, by presenting listeners with a special greeting from their preferred artist. This functionality can be accessed through the app by selecting the Library tab.

The update for this year introduces new badges for users to exhibit. For example, the “Trendsetter” badge is awarded to those who engage with trending albums ahead of the crowd, while the “Headliner” badge is given to fans in the top percentage of an artist’s listeners. Additionally, fresh, shareable cards are designed with a “music festival” theme, specifically tailored to each user.

Last year, Amazon Music’s version of Spotify Wrapped was “My Year in Review,” a playlist showcasing 50 to 100 of the top tracks based on your annual statistics. This playlist can be found within the “Playlists” section or under “Made For You.”

Apple Music

Apple’s streaming service Apple Music first launched its “Replay” feature in 2019. This functionality provides a summary of the top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, and stations, showcasing play counts, total time spent listening, and additional insights. Users can also share their personalized listening statistics on social media, alongside a year-end highlight reel that offers both audio and visual representations of the music they consumed most throughout the year.

This year, Apple Replay 2025 includes a fresh “Discovery” segment focusing on new artists, a “Loyalty” section for artists users return to each year, and a “Comebacks” area for artists who have made a return to users’ playlists.

This differs from last year’s experience, which highlighted “listening streaks,” indicating the days users engaged with music on the service the longest. Additionally, the platform introduced a monthly version of Replay in 2024, allowing users to review their monthly music habits.

The experience is accessible via both the mobile app and Apple’s Replay website.

For Apple Books users, there’s a Year in Review feature that showcases all the books and audiobooks read in the past year. This can be found in the Apple Books app by selecting the green “Year in Review” icon.

Deezer

Deezer, another music streaming service, delivers a yearly summary known as “My Deezer Year,” which encapsulates your music listening behavior over the year, detailing top tracks, most-played genres, favored artists, and most-listened-to albums.

This year’s edition includes a playful new “romantic comedy” theme for the recap visuals. In addition, users can craft their own quizzes to share with others. Simply select a favorite genre, three songs, and a top artist to see which of your friends align with your choices.

Last year’s version offered options to be “roasted” or “hyped-up” according to your music tastes, including a quiz that assessed how well your friends and family understood your preferences.

SoundCloud

If you favor SoundCloud as your music streaming service, you’re in good fortune. The app recently introduced its SoundCloud 2025 recap, which provides an overview of your top five tracks, artists, albums, and listening moods. It also displays your overall listening duration and supplies a playlist featuring your 50 most listened-to songs.

In addition, users can discover their “Music Doppelgänger.” SoundCloud evaluates the profiles they follow to identify which user exhibits the highest match in music taste.

YouTube Music

YouTube Music’s Recap feature delivers a tailored, interactive experience, showcasing the top five artists, songs, moods, genres, albums, and playlists. It also reflects your longest listening streak and the total minutes spent listening over the year.

This year’s novelty includes an AI-driven “Ask Music” feature that allows users to inquire about their music history. For instance, “How did my listening evolve throughout the year?”

You can access this feature by tapping on the profile icon in the upper right corner and selecting “Your Recap.” It is available in the Android and iOS apps.

Another exciting new feature this year is that the video-sharing platform YouTube has launched its own Recap function, allowing users to review their most-viewed videos from 2025. This emphasizes a user’s preferred channels and interests while illustrating how their viewing preferences have evolved. Furthermore, it categorizes users based on personality types according to their viewing habits.

Tidal

In contrast to certain other streaming services, Tidal adopts a streamlined approach to its recap, concentrating on essential information such as top artists, songs, and monthly listening habits. This feature also offers a shareable card showcasing your top 5 tracks and artists. Additionally, you receive a curated playlist of your most-played songs for the year.

To access your recap, click the notifications bell within your app.

Duolingo

Beyond music platforms, other services are also taking advantage of Spotify’s success, including the language-learning application Duolingo. This platform offers a “Year in Review” experience that comprises a 10-page overview, unveiling insights for various learner types, encompassing total XP earned, the longest streak, and personalized learning style.

To retrieve your recap, click on the blue Duolingo mascot icon labeled “2025” in the lower left region of the display.

Netflix Wrapped

While Netflix does not provide its own year-end summary, a video-editing company named Kapwing has created a tool that utilizes Netflix viewing data to highlight intriguing statistics about individual users. This includes insights like subscribers’ “most bingeful day” and aggregated watch time.

To employ the tool, simply import your Netflix viewing history. You’ll gain various insights, including total minutes and days streamed, the most-watched shows and films, notable binges (like completing an entire season in a single day), and the actor featured in the most-watched movies, among other statistics.

Wrapped for TikTok

In 2020, TikTok introduced a feature that displayed the number of videos watched and engagement on user-generated content. However, it is no longer available, inspiring users to craft their own alternatives.

One such tool was created by Bennett Hollstein. It operates similarly to the Kapwing tool, enabling users to export their TikTok data. To do this, head to the TikTok Settings page, click on “Settings and privacy,” then “Account,” and select “Download your data.” For this tool, it’s crucial to select “JSON – Machine-readable file” as the file format before uploading this file to “Wrapped for TikTok.”

After uploading the file, you are then able to see the total videos watched, overall viewing time, and an engagement persona, such as “Interaction Monster.”

Twitch

Twitch also offers an annual recap for both viewers and content creators on the platform, providing insights into their most-watched channels, total watch time, and more. To obtain your recap, visit twitch.tv/annual-recap and log in to your profile. Users need to have watched or streamed at least 10 hours of content this year to qualify.

Reclaim

Reclaim, a calendar application, has introduced its own year-in-review feature emulating Spotify Wrapped. This summarizes external and internal meetings, hours dedicated to deep work and breaks, the number of meetings, auto-scheduled meetings, your busiest month, and your work personality type.

Hevy

The workout application Hevy’s annual review highlights the number of workouts completed within the year, predominant exercises, total duration, volume lifted, and completed sets. A fascinating aspect of the report is that it compares the weight users lifted to objects like airplanes.

Since it’s still early December, more businesses may launch their annual recap features. Numerous services have previously provided year-end summaries, including Circleback, Goodreads, Eight Sleep, Hulu, Pandora, PlayStation, Mastodon, Reddit, Strava, Tinder, Xbox, and others. Even the grocery chain Aldi has joined the trend.

This article has been updated post-publication to incorporate new Wrapped-like features from various platforms.
