On Sunday, Semafor disclosed that the Canadian investment firm Tiny, which owns around 60% of Letterboxd, has been exploring various buyer options, including Versant, the parent organization of CNBC and MS NOW (previously MSNBC). Another interested party is The Ankler, a well-known Hollywood newsletter, per Semafor’s report. Tiny acquired the platform in 2023, establishing its worth at over $50 million. It remains uncertain if any negotiations have progressed toward a potential agreement.<\/p>\n
