(Oracle is designated as the security partner for this new joint venture, while the former owner ByteDance maintains a 19.9% interest.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the DOJ memo, President Donald Trump has authorized \u201cemployees of Executive Branch agencies\u201d to \u201cdownload TikTok onto their official devices, at the agency\u2019s discretion and in alignment with all relevant workplace policies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the prohibition that targeted government employees and devices, the app faced a broader ban throughout the United States.
